“Straw Into Gold”

Through Harold’s Lens:

Intimate old medieval town
Ambled curved cobblestone alleyways
Medieval thoughts of life.

Turned rock corner
Built 11th century
Refreshment cafe.

Stunning blond mother
Beautiful blond daughter
Straw into gold.

“May I?”
Her eyes smiled.

“Thank you,” whispered Mr. SLR Nikon.

    • Hi Ms. Positive, the image captured for me an instant warm moment with a beautiful little girl. Thank you for enjoying the work of my trusty sidekick, Mr. SLR Nikon. Thank you also for taking the time to take a peek at my blog. I’m sure you have been quite busy. It’s been quiet a past 24-hours in your part of the world. Congratulations on your new future Queen.

      • Kate and William are a lovely couple and now with the new baby “George, Alexander, Louis” a very happy couple!
I have been extremely busy the last 4 weeks and had trouble to catch up with everything. My first day of holidays today and still I will pop into work to finish things off. I like your blog and enjoy your work with your sidekick, you are a great team! 🙂
        Looking forward to see more!
Enjoy your travels and be safe!

  1. Beautiful shot, and beautiful prose…once again, you have created something special. It looks like you are enjoying your travels, Estonia is a place I have dreamed of visiting so it is nice to get a small slice here.

    • Hi dalo2013, just trying to bring my friends a slice of life, through photographs and words, of a moment in time someplace in our world. To me, the beauty of the journey is in the details. The tiny things that capture the moment. I’ve tried to train my trusty sidekick, Mr. SLR Nikon, to always be ready. You never know when that moment will pop up.

  2. Love your writing. It bites, snippets.

As for the photo (and how you came by it): beautiful. She’s beautiful. God bless her, hope, and here’s to the future.

    • Hi Noeleen, Working on my writing style. I’m enjoying it, Slices of life. Just like the photo. I’m happy that you thought I captured her beauty. The little girl had a warm heart and it showed.
