Through Harold’s Lens:
You
All alone
Huddled in the dark hallway
Of building 14G.
His tender arm
Comfort
Care
Concern
Compassion.
Frail
Fragile
Full of love
Wise in ways.
Oh wise one
Let him help you!
His arms will guide
His legs will walk
His eyes will see
His heart will love.
You and he will slowly enter
with grace and style.
You
Spiderwebs of experience
Surrounding your eyes
Him
Youthful abundance
hugging your hip.
You
Not alone anymore.
This bought tears to my eyes. Just beautiful. I love “spiderwebs of experience”. That is going to be how I think of my own from this point on.
