Those warm summer evening are coming Jolene. Time to relax and feel refreshed as the sun, and it’s family of rich tones and colors, rises in the morning, sends beauty our way all day, then relaxes in the evening to take a long evening nap as their flair of pastels fade into the night.
Happy you enjoy my image. No there is no filter. Just the amazing colors of a receding sunset off the little fishing village of Menemsha on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. Hundreds go there almost every night to witness this.
T’was Hugs. But it’s sundowner time now. The fish of the day are sizzling on the grill, garlic wafts the air, rods, reels and line smothered with saltwater has been freshwater spray washed, ropes curled on the deck, engine fed with fuel. We’re rigged & ready for the next morning’s adventure out onto the ocean. As I lift my glass of dry red wine to take a sip, I hear stories and laughter. The size of the fish always gets larger after a few sips from the grape.
See, you have a great eye! I love silhouettes, and this makes me long for the warm summer evenings that are just around the corner.

The yellow is so striking, is there a filter on your camera or is it real? Sorry I’m not up on my photography, however, I love the photo

Thanks Cindy. 5;30am on the water comes very early, so rigged and ready the night before is a must.
